Our Mission

The Blaine County Conservation District is dedicated to conserving and enhancing the natural resources of Blaine County. Our mission is to promote sustainable land use, protect water quality, and preserve wildlife habitats through education, partnerships, and community engagement.

Our History

Established in 1953, the Blaine County Conservation District has been at the forefront of local conservation efforts for over 70 years. Originally formed to address soil erosion, our work has expanded to include a wide range of environmental concerns, from water conservation to wildlife protection. Throughout the decades, we have collaborated with local landowners, government agencies, and community members to implement practices that benefit both people and nature.
